McDonald’s Malaysia is giving away A FREE MEAL TO ALL TEACHERS in conjunction with Teachers’ Day this month! 

These vouchers have been couriered to ALL DISTRICT EDUCATION OFFICES (Pejabat Pelajaran Daerah) for their distribution to more than 420,000 teachers of NATIONAL SCHOOLS AND GOVERNMENT- AIDED schools across the country under the purview of the Ministry of Education. 


 Boxes containing McDonald's meal vouchers have been delivered to all District Education Offices for more than 420,000 teachers across the country in conjunction with National Teachers’ Day on 16 May.

YEAR 1 (2019) UNIT 2 : ASK & TICK (SHAPES)

Pre Lesson
- Students talk about their favourite shapes and why they love the shapes.

Lesson Development
- Students learn about " What is your favourite shape?" " My favourite shape is __________ .".
-Teacher distributes the worksheet.
- Students need to go around the class and ask their friends about their favourite shapes.
-Students write the name of their friends and tick (/) their friends' answers in the given worksheet.

Post Lesson
- Teacher selects several students to talk about their findings in front of the class. 
Eg: Siti likes circles.
Ahmad likes squares.

YEAR 1 (2019) UNIT 2 : WHO SPOT IT FIRST? (SHAPES)

Pre Lesson
- Students talk about the shapes they have learned in the previous lessons.
Lesson Development
- Students sit with their partner.
- Teacher distributes the "Who Spot It First?" board.
- Teacher say the shapes in random. 
-Students listen and compete with their partner to spot  and point the shapes on the board.
- Those who spot the shapes first will get 10 marks and write the marks in the given from.
- Students with most marks will be the winners.
Post Lesson
Students choose one shape as their favourite and draw the shape in their book.

-Students learn about toys.
-Teacher paste the toys flashcard around the classroom wall.
-Students do gallery walk.

-Students write the name of toys in the flipbook template.
-Students cut the template accordingly.
