Hi all. For this post, I would like to share the documentation, activities, and materials for the English Linus Workshop which was held in my school last week.

*I need to prepare the paperwork in Bahasa Melayu since that is how it is required in my school, but I will share both versions (English & B.Melayu) here. You can edit the documents if there are any errors or to suit your preferences.
MATERIALS
REWARD BASKET ( for students' control)
*Students were rewarded at any time of the workshop if they cooperated well.Alhamdulillah it worked out.

GIFTS
* One set of stationery ( pencil case, pencil, ruler, rubber, scissors & glue) was given to every participant at the end of the workshop
MODULES
ACTIVITY 1(ALPHA FOCUS)
8.15am-9.15am
-Students sang the Skidamarink song
-Students sang the alphabet song and imitated the action in the video.
-Students did the exercise in the
BREAK (MAKAN TIME)
9.15am-9.45am
ACTIVITY 2
(WORD FAMILIES READ & PICK)
9.45am-11.15am
-Teacher played "Baby Shark" song as warmer.
-Students sang along and did the related action.
-Teacher played the "Phonic Song" to recall the students' prerequisite knowledge on phonics.
Students sang along.
-Student went through the "EASY PEASY WORD FAMILIES READING MODULE" by teacherfiera.com with teacher's guidance.
Students play Read & Pick game with their partner.
DOWNLOAD THE NEEDED MATERIALS
LETTERS & WORD FAMILIES (TO BE CUT BY THE TEACHER BEFORE THE ACTIVITY)
-Teacher showed pictures & words in the word families and students picked the correct letter and word family and matched them together.
-The first pair matched the letter and the word family correctly would be rewarded.
ACTIVITY 3
(WORD FAMILIES WRITE & STICK)
11.15am-12.15pm
DOWNLOAD THE REQUIRED MATERIALS
- Students picked one writing strip randomly and wrote the correct word based on the given picture.
*Students were allowed to refer to their reading module if they were not sure of what to write.
-Then, students stuck the word in the correct word family board.
-Students repeated the activity until the teacher said stop.
