EXAMPLES OF TEACHER’S COMMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PBD TEMPLATE (CLASSROOM BASED ASSESSMENT)

Have you all done your PBD records for the mid year report? I know some of you haven't.
In the PBD template (I'll be focussing on English ), there's one column for the English teachers to give comments and feedback for the students (ULASAN GURU). The comments are optional and not compulsory. However, we are encouraged to provide comments as we will provide meaningful and holistic reports for our records. Also, parents will gain more insight on how their children progress and learn at school by reading the comments.
For this, I have compiled examples of teacher's comments that could be used in the PBD template as for everyone's reference. You can download the editable file via the link below. *You are free to edit based on your preferences.

YEAR 2 (2019) UNIT 8 : HUMAN BODY PARTS - LISTEN & TOUCH, READ & WRITE


Pre Lesson
- Students recall their prerequisite knowledge about parts of body.
- Students talk about how many parts of body they have. For eg: I have two eyes. I have one mouth. etc

Lesson Development
- Students sit with their partner (same gender).
- Teacher assigns who is A and B.
- Teachers says the instructions. For eg: 
Student A, touch your partner's nose.
Student B, touch your partner's shoulders.
- Students listen to the instructions and do what have been instructed.
- Students and teacher discuss about safe and unsafe touches.
-Teacher distributes worksheets.
- Students label parts of body in the given worksheet.
Post Lesson
- Teacher put the flashcards around the classroom. 
-Teacher reminds the students on how to write the singular and plural parts of body
-Students do gallery walk and write the correct body parts in the parts of body wheel.
-Students paste their works in their book.

YEAR 2 (2019) UNIT 8 : THE ROBOTS (BODY PARTS) - LISTEN, CIRCLE, DRAW AND MAKE A FLIPBOOK

Pre Lesson
- Teacher acts and talks like robot. 
- Students guess the role acted by their teacher .
- Teacher shows flashcards (robot body parts).
-Students discuss about the robot body parts.

Lesson Development
- Students listen to a chant from Year 2 textbook (page 94) and circle the correct body parts.
-Students draw one robot based on their imagination.

Post Lesson
- Teacher put the flashcards around the classroom. 
-Students do gallery walk and write the correct body parts in the flipbook template.
-Students paste the flipbook and the listening worksheet in their book.

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!

Happy Teachers' Day!

Yesterday was the day that teachers received gifts, thank you cards, and sweet messages from current and old students. This is when teachers shed some tears of joy. The joy of being recognized for their hard work and noble job. 
The whole world celebrates Teachers’ Day (albeit on different dates), to honour world’s most influential job. The job that is known to shape the mind and knowledge of the people, turning anyone into someone. 
I hope all my fellow teachers had a blast yesterday and managed to have spent some quality time with family and friends while heading over to the nearest McDonald’s restaurant to redeem the McDonalds’ special Teachers’ Day voucher starting from yesterday, 16th May until 20th May 2019. 
Me and my friends were so excited to receive the voucher from our senior teacher few days ago! I got the Filet-O-Fish meal for buka puasa yesterday! What did you get?
